Despite being expelled and struggling with dyslexia, Keanu Reeves achieved success in Hollywood.

As a child, Reeves would act out because he was frustrated with his dyslexia. He found an outlet for these frustrations through hockey and wanted to go pro, but an injury prevented this dream. Reeves decided to pursue a career of acting instead after discovering his love for Shakespeare. He started in local plays and small budget films before heading to Hollywood. Some of his most well known appearances are in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, The Matrix trilogy, and John Wick.
