Collin Corkum proves that anyone can be a player when it comes to helping those who are dyslexic – no matter what age they are!

Corkum, now 95, knows the struggles that dyslexia can cause as well as anyone. Living with undiagnosed dyslexia for years, Corkum dropped out of secondary school at age 17 because of his reading and writing difficulties. It wasn’t until he was 40 that he received appropriate intervention that helped him go on to receive a Master’s degree, a teaching credential, and a Ph.D. in behavioral science! Now, Corkum has co-authored a book with his wife called Dyslexia Breakthrough that gives other dyslexics radical, innovative tips for improving their reading techniques and habits by using their eyes to process written words.
