Five high school students get personal as they talk about their experiences with dyslexia and other learning disabilities in a panel interview from 2007.

In part one of the panel, the students reveal what age they were diagnosed, the affects dyslexia has on their life in and out of school, useful accommodations used in school, and effective tools. They all agree that informing teachers of their learning disability is very important and they share advice that they want teachers to know. The students also talk about academic challenges including transitions, organization, and spelling.

In part two of the panel, the students share who the most supportive person in their life has been, negative personal experiences, and pet peeves, all in regards to their learning disability. They also share the strengths of their learning disabilities and give final advice to parents,  teachers, and other students.
