Often, a huge part of the difficulty in solving a math problem comes from having to write it all out. Legibility can be a huge problem which makes learning basic math skills very difficult. Recognizing this challenge, ModMath was created specifically for people with dysgraphia and dyslexia. ModMath is a free iPad app that allows users to set up and solve math problems with a touchscreen and keyboard – no pencil and paper required!

Specifically, ModMath provides students with a virtual piece of graph paper where they can set up math problems in a legible format. Students can do basic math problem solving such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and even fractions and equations. Once completed, students can print out the work pages to turn them in at school, or email them directly to their teacher.

If you, your child, or your student struggles with math skills, check out this app here: http://www.modmath.com/ [1] or download it for FREE here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/modmath/id821892964?ls=1&mt=8 [2].
