Ben Foss was diagnosed with dyslexia as a child. He relied on his mother to read him his textbooks aloud throughout high school and college.
Realizing that this could not continue into his adult life, and looking for more independence in reading, Foss developed a mobile, handheld device that will convert any printed text into digital text that the device can read aloud – the Intel Reader. It does this simply by taking a picture of the written words.
