James Grady is dyslexic. He is also the author of Six Days of the Condor, Mad Dogs, and over ten other adult novels. He has also written many short fiction pieces, Hollywood scripts, and freelance journalism columns. His most popular novel Six Days of the Condor was even made into a thriller film, Three Days of the Condor, that was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe award in 1976. Grady’s successful career as an author would not have been possible if he had allowed his dyslexia to prevent his interest in writing. As a boy, Grady enjoyed reading novels and watching movies, and built a career around the things he loved without letting any difficulties reading or writing that his dyslexia created.
