Omari McQueen smiling while holding a bunch of grapes.

TV Chef, Entrepreneur, CEO, and author by the age of 12

At the age of 7, Omari learned to cook from his father, and by the following year, Omari began exploring his own vegan creations to help improve his mother’s health. With the help of his older brother, Omari began a youtube channel featuring his recipes, which took off and inspired Omari to start his own business: Dipalicious. Now, he has his own BBC cooking show for kids, and has made guest appearances on other shows.

Despite his professional successes, Omari’s school life has not been easy due to his dyslexia. He had a hard time paying attention in lessons and often felt as though the teacher would move along too quickly for him to understand. But, Omari’s family has supported him and encouraged him to persevere in his passions. Now, Omari has published his first vegan cookbook and dreams of opening a chain of restaurants.
