Swedish Crown Princess Victoria revealed that she was bullied at school because of her difficulties with reading and writing. These difficulties arose from her dyslexia, which she shares with her father.

In an effort to increase awareness and understanding of dyslexia and its effects, and to stop other children from being bullied, the Princess shared her personal experiences with dyslexia at a bullying conference at the University of Orebro in Sweden. She hopes that dyslexic children will be given the support they need to overcome their reading struggles.
