Will Smith, the star in over 20 blockbuster films, attributes his success to dyslexia.

Growing up, he struggled in school due to his reading challenges. But, he did not let his difficulty with written language discourage him, and decided to pursue a career in rapping after high school. His rapping career gained him fame with several successful albums, but his role in the 90s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” led to even wider recognition and launched his renowned acting career.

His dyslexic super power of outstanding auditory memory helps him overcome the reading challenges from dyslexia and enables him to memorize multiple scripts. Now, he has several nominations and awards for his work in music and film to attest to his success despite his struggles with dyslexia.
