What a Grant for the Georgia State University Dyslexia Endorsement Program Means

At the College of Education and Human Development at Georgia State University Associate Professor Lauren Boden and Assistant Professor Brennan Chandler just received a $56,566 grant from the Georgia Department of Education. This grant comes after the passing of Georgia senate bill 48 which is aimed at providing support to students with dyslexia.

This new funding will help the college with being able to expand their dyslexia endorsement program. The expansion of this program will allow for there to be scholarships for the program for current teachers, more supplies to be bought for it, and for more informational materials to be created for educators.
