Olympic Gold Medalist, Noah Lyles Struggles with Dyslexia
Noah Lyles recently won the gold medal in the Paris Olympics 100-meter sprint. Following his victory, he shared that he has dyslexia, asthma, ADD, anxiety, and depression. He emphasized that none of these challenges defines what he can become.
Lyles was diagnosed with both dyslexia and ADD in second grade and recalls having a very difficult time with tasks such as standardized testing. Despite the challenges he has faced, Lyles' story depicts that with determination, success is achievable.
