We are fortunate to have many individuals around the country and the globe working to answer questions about the diagnosis and treatment of dyslexia and language disabilities. We intend to reach out to these researchers and practitioners for first-hand information about the state-of-the-art in the field.

We know that dyslexia is a language-based learning disability with a neurological component. And, although it is a language-based disability, most dyslexics do not have problems with oral language in general.

A hidden disability

Every day, thousands of dyslexics go about their lives and by and large, the majority of people with whom they interact will not kno
