A new app for iPads, Ghotit Dyslexia Keyboard helps those with dyslexia and dysgraphia to type with ease.
Their patented technology of Ghotit Quick Spell Word-Prediction combines spell-check features with grammar recognition to help the user minimize typing mistakes. This app is great for kids and teenagers learning to read and write properly, but it is also used by adults who are challenged by their dyslexia in their everyday life.
Some of the key features of the application include its word-predictor that predicts the intended words of the user and effectively guides them with instant correction. The app also has a text-to-speech feature that gives talking word-prediction and voice feedback. This is intended to help users who learn better phonetically and know how to say a word, but not necessarily know how to spell it. In addition, Ghotit has built in dictionaries for 4 different English languages to accommodate to its users. The app is specifically helpful for confused words, homophones, and grammar as well punctuation errors by detecting these while simultaneously teaching the user about correct grammar and spelling. Once installed, the keyboard can be added as an additional keyboard on your iPad, allowing the user to use it with other apps, messaging, and more.
Ghotit Dyslexia Keyboard is available for iPad from the iTunes App Store.
