What a Grant for the Georgia State University Dyslexia Endorsement Program Means

At the College of Education and Human Development at Georgia State University associate professor Lauren Boden and assistant professor Brennan Chandler received a $56,566 grant from the Georgia Department of Education. This grant comes after the passing of Georgia Senate Bill 48 which is aimed at providing support to students with dyslexia. 

This new funding will help the university expand its dyslexia endorsement program. The grant will fund scholarships to the program for current teachers, supplies, and more informational materials to be created for educators.
