New Study Shows Ability of Dyslexic Students to Succeed in College and Beyond

A new study finds that when “intellectually able and motivated students with dyslexia are given academic opportunity at a rigorous institution they can succeed academically, professionally, and personally”.

We thank Juan Tirado for alerting us to this new study. He wrote, “With so much uncertainty surrounding how we approach education during this pandemic, helping students – especially those with dyslexia – adjust to their new reality poses a challenge for parents and teachers alike. An exciting new study that brings much needed scientifically-based positivity was just published in the Journal of Pediatric Neuropsychology. Check out more about the study through Dr. Sally Shaywitz’s book “Overcoming Dyslexia: Second Edition” here.
