Open Educational Resources (OERs) have become popular in the digitization of school materials.

OERs are published under creative commons licenses, which allows them to be used by most anyone without traditional copyright restrictions. The resources are free and easy to use, which is why many schools and universities have adopted them.

However, OERs aren’t necessarily accessible to anybody due to formatting. Bookshare has come up with a way to make all of the OER easy to find.

The Special Collection on Bookshare has over 100 titles on a variety of subjects for every grade level, and anybody can download them because they are published under an open, creative commons license.

Read more about OER on the Bookshare blog or browse Bookshare’s Special Collection.
